Post New Years Wedding DJ

Thanks to everyone for the positive comments and feedback! Except for the one girl who asked if I could ‘play music people could dance to’ twenty minutes into the set.

Thanks Karen

Dear Joe,

I’m writing to thank you very much for being part of the Grand Opening celebrations at Guelph City Hall. I have received many positive comments about the quality and variety of performers and exhibitors. It was a true community celebration, and we couldn’t have done it without you!

We are fortunate to have talent like yours in our community. Thank you again for helping to make our Grand Opening so memorable.

Regards,

Karen Farbridge | Mayor

First Show Postponed…

Dear performers and participants,

I am writing to inform you that unfortunately the performances and activities scheduled for the grand opening of City Hall this Saturday, June 20th, have been postponed.

The City of Guelph joins the Wellington Catholic District School Board and the community in its mourning of a student who was fatally injured after a partial wall in a public washroom in Southend Community Park collapsed yesterday.

In respect for the family of the deceased, and recognizing this is a tragedy for the entire Guelph community, the City of Guelph is postponing its grand opening celebrations of new City Hall, scheduled for this Saturday, until a more suitable time. The City will be contacting all partners within the next two weeks with a new date for the event.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation at this difficult time.
